 Darius Songaila-F- HornetsJan. 24 - 12:38 am et
Making a rare start on Saturday, Hornets forward Darius Songaila scored a season-high 20 points on 8-of-13 field goals and 4-of-4 free throws.
Songaila pitched in seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and just one turnover in nearly 40 minutes. He got the start with David West (ankle) sidelined, but with West day-to-day it's hard to see this solid game having a lasting effect.
 Darius Songaila-F - Hornets Jan. 22 - 11:17 pm et

With David West sidelined by a sprained ankle, Darius Songaila had 13 points, nine boards, a block a steal Friday night.
Songaila got 24 minutes as the primary power forward after West went down. We don't know the extent of West's injury, but Songaila figures to grab a start if West missed time. Even so, keep your expectations low.
 Hilton Armstrong-F/C - Kings Nov. 19 - 8:40 pm et

Hilton Armstrong (shoulder), who was probable for Thursday's matchup against the Suns, was not activated to play.
Expect Emeka Okafor to get as much run as he can handle, and backups Darius Songaila and Sean Marks will also pick up the slack.

 Ike Diogu-F/C - Hornets Nov. 1 - 11:56 am et

Ike Diogu practiced Saturday, but did not play Sunday because of a strained left knee.
Even when Diogu is back and at full strength, he has a ways to go before he is valuable in fantasy leagues.

 Ike Diogu-F/C - Hornets Oct. 28 - 2:38 am et

The Hornets will be without backup power forward Ike Diogu on Wednesday, coach Byron Scott said.
Diogu, who has been bothered by a strained left knee, tweaked the knee again Monday and did not practice Tuesday. Darius Songaila should get most of the bench minutes behind David West tonight.

 David West-F - Hornets Oct. 25 - 5:30 am et

David West came in at No. 4 on the minutes-played list last season after logging 2,981 in 76 games for an average of 39.2 per game.
That means he was on the bench for less than nine minutes per game, but the addition of Emeka Okafor, Ike Diogu and Darius Songaila should give him some relief. The problem is that Okafor and Diogu have been injured. Don't be scared off by the talk of less minutes, as it could make West an even more productive player.
