Delonte West (finger) likely will not play against the Nets on Tuesday.
With only one more game to go before the All-Star break, it looks like we won't see Delonte until Feb. 18. The Cavs just don't have any motivation to rush West with Daniel Gibson playing so well. Mo Williams is due back at the end of February, so West's window for value is almost completely shut.

Delonte West (finger) is expected to play vs. the Nets on Tuesday, though he'll come off the bench behind Daniel Gibson for now.
He looked fine in practice and fellow guard Mo Williams said he will play. Owners should still probably avoid him until we've seen him in action -- the same probably goes for Gibson, who will surely see a decrease in playing time.

Daniel Gibson missed the first half of Thursday's game after spending time in the hospital with his fiancee, but returned to play the second half and scored 12 points on 2-of-6 shooting with two treys, two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block.
The fiancee in question was singer Keyshia Cole, who was admitted for precautionary reasons related to her pregnancy. Oddly enough, Gibson's production mirrored what it looks like when he plays a full game, which should tell you all you need to know about his value when Delonte West returns soon.

LeBron James started at point guard for the first time since his rookie season with Daniel Gibson (personal) out on Thursday, and finished with 36 points on 9-of-16 shooting (1-of-4 from downtown, 17-of-21 from the foul line) with seven rebounds, eight assists, and two steals.
We were expecting some eye-popping assist totals, but they never came, and by halftime Daniel Gibson was back from tending to his pregnant fiancee at the hospital. It was just another day at office for LBJ, who powered his team to a 102-86 win over the Heat, and likely gained some MVP votes in this one.

Delonte West (finger) did not play Thursday against the Heat, but could be back as soon as Tuesday against the Nets.
He did some shooting Thursday morning with his finger taped up, but what is most telling is that with third-string point guard Daniel Gibson (personal) out on Thursday, he wasn't healthy enough to gut it out. Keep him reserved, obviously, until we get more definitive news about his return.

Daniel Gibson made a surprise return to Thursday's game after spending the majority of the evening with his pregnant wife at the hospital.
He returned for the second half, which will help ease the burden on LeBron James and return the Cavs to a more traditional lineup. Let's see if he can help salvage the night for owners who were forced to start him.
