Javaris Crittenton may have the boot on his left foot removed next week, at which point he might start running.
Crittenton had exploratory surgery two weeks ago and is expected to rehab for another four weeks. The Wizards didn't extend his contract and he doesn't figure to be a large part of their plans this season, either.

Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sunday that the Wizards are not going to extend the contract of point guard Javaris Crittenton.
After having foot surgery on Friday, and with this news, it would appear that his career is at a crossroads. One thing is certain, though, and that is the lack of fantasy value that he has.

Reserve point guard Javaris Crittenton had exploratory surgery last Friday on his left foot and will be out at least one more month.
Crittenton said the surgery was performed to clean the injury and make sure there is no additional damage to the foot. Now, only more rest will help his foot heal. He'll have to wait until at least December to start getting consistent minutes.

A recent MRI revealed that Javaris Crittenton still has swelling in two ligaments near his ankle, in addition to a bone bruise.
There is no official timetable for Crittenton's return, but he is hoping to play in the Wizards' second game of the season, against the Hawks on October 30th. Washington's backcourt is too deep to give him much consideration, even in deep leagues.

An MRI revealed that Javaris Crittenton has a double-bone bruise, a strained tendon, and swelling in his left foot. He will be out for at least two weeks.
He is walking in a protective boot, and this injury further damages his chances of getting consistent minutes in the Wizards backcourt.

Javaris Crittenton was forced out of Friday's practice because of a "double bone bruise" in his left foot. He is scheduled to have an MRI.
Crittenton injured himself late this summer, took two weeks off, and just resumed running this week. He left the gym "visibly upset and wearing a walking boot," and it sounds like an extended layoff could be right around the corner.
