Javaris Crittenton has decided not to appeal his season-long suspension without pay.
Crittenton knows he doesn't have a case after pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge. He'll have to turn his reputation around and improve his on-court game in order to be on an NBA roster next season.

One NBA GM told Yahoo! Sports' Marc Spears that he wouldn't be surprised if Javaris Crittenton is out of the NBA next season.
"There are a lot of point guards that can do what he does without his drama," the GM said. We couldn't agree more. Crittenton never came close to fulfilling his potential after being selected 19th overall in 2007 and is suspended for the rest of this season.

David Stern has suspended Javaris Crittenton for the remainder of the season.
This suspension is something of an afterthought in the wake of the news that Gilbert Arenas is done for the year, and because Crittenton had yet to appear in a game for the Wizards this season anyway. Crittenton is still only 22, but as a fringe player who's unsigned for next season, the young PG will have to work hard to reestablish value at the NBA level.

Wizards guard Javaris Crittenton pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge on Monday, explaining he had a pistol because he feared teammate Gilbert Arenas would shoot him or blow up his car after the two argued over a gambling debt.
Crittenton was sentenced to a year of unsupervised probation. He must also mentor young people in Washington and to help with relief efforts for Haiti, in addition to paying $1,250 in fines. He's likely to lose a lot more money when the NBA inevitably suspends him.

Gun charges have been filed against Javaris Crittenton in an apparent plea deal.
Crittenton was charged Monday with two misdemeanors -- possession of an unregistered firearm and attempted carrying a pistol without a license. Crittenton will likely join Gilbert Arenas in a lengthy suspension that should be announced later this week.

The NBA is expected to announce suspensions for Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton by the end of next week, according to ESPN.com.
Arenas has been on "indefinite" suspension for 10 games and the players' union wants the league to give a concrete punishment. Commissioner David Stern has received a comprehensive report on the incident and could make his decision by Wednesday.
