 Caron Butler-G/F- WizardsFeb. 5 - 2:23 pm et
Caron Butler (knee) participated in the Wizards' shootaround Friday and is expected to play against the Magic.
We don't think that Butler's minutes will be limited. The bigger concern is Butler's declining play. He played 40+ minutes a game in January but still averaged just 15.5 points, 6.3 boards and 2.6 assists.

Caron Butler (knee) will attempt to play against Orlando on Friday, according to beat writer Michael Lee.
Butler's injury is more nagging than serious. Still, this problem coupled with his poor play this season is definitely scaring potential trade partners off. Consider Butler a game-time decision on Friday for now, with Nick Young the biggest beneficiary if he sits.

 Caron Butler-G/F - Wizards Feb. 3 - 1:29 pm et

Caron Butler will not play on Wednesday due to swelling in his left knee due to a collision with Paul Pierce on Monday.
The good news is that the Wizards aren't currently planning an MRI, but they will be keeping a close eye on his condition in the coming days. No official word yet on who will start, but look for Nick Young to have increased value for as long as Butler remains out.

 Nick Young-G/F - Wizards Jan. 16 - 9:52 pm et

The Wizards' bench stepped up in Saturday's home win vs. Sacramento, led by solid performances from Nick Young (12 points in 23 minutes) and Earl Boykins (13 points, two steals in 20 minutes).
Washington was playing for the fourth time in five nights and just came off a double-OT loss to the Bulls, so they needed their reserves to carry their weight. Most of the starters were adequate but unspectacular -- Randy Foye had eight points and six assists, Brendan Haywood had 10 & 10 with three blocks, and Caron Butler scored a team-high 19 points.
 DeShawn Stevenson-G - Wizards Jan. 16 - 12:15 am et

DeShawn Stevenson started over Nick Young on Friday and had six points, five assists and two 3-pointers in Friday's loss.
Stevenson isn't likely to have much fantasy value, especially when Mike Miller returns from his injury, so don't both picking him up in most leagues. Young played just 12 minutes off the bench to finish with five points and can be dropped now that he's lost his starting job.
 DeShawn Stevenson-G - Wizards Jan. 15 - 8:18 pm et

DeShawn Stevenson started at shooting guard for the Wizards on Friday, replacing healthy Nick Young in the lineup.
Young has been struggling and shooting it with every touch. A move to the bench could actually work in his favor, but Stevenson is worth keeping an eye on in the starting unit.
