 David West-F- HornetsFeb. 9 - 12:10 am et
David West scored 27 points in the Hornets' losing effort on Monday, making 10-of-19 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs in his second-highest scoring total of the past 18 games.
West is still a reliable option, though his points (17.9), FG attempts (14.8) and rebounds (7.6) have all taken big dips this season, along with his playing time (35:36). Most of that was a lackluster November, however, and an ankle injury which has since healed.
 Emeka Okafor-F/C - Hornets Feb. 4 - 12:18 am et

Emeka Okafor had 14 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in Wednesday's loss to the Thunder.
He's been a bit inconsistent, but owners worried about him struggling in the loss of Chris Paul should feel better after this one. David West had 12 points and just five rebounds, but we're not too concerned about him, either.
 David West-F - Hornets Jan. 29 - 11:48 pm et

David West went off for 29 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks in Friday's overtime loss to the Bulls.
West was on fire, and he'll be leaned on even more heavily if Chris Paul (knee) misses any time. West is shooting over over 53 percent in January and that ankle issue is a distant memory.
 Chris Paul-G - Hornets Jan. 28 - 1:39 am et

Chris Paul hit 14-of-19 shots and a 3-pointer for 38 points, six rebounds, nine assists and three steals as the Hornets easily beat the Warriors on Wednesday.
Paul commmitted seven TOs on the night, but this was a stellar performance. Emeka Okafor had 12 points and 12 boards, while David West, playing through an ankle injury, had 17 & 12 in the win.
 David West-F - Hornets Jan. 26 - 12:57 am et

David West hit just 4-of-13 shots and 10-of-11 free throws for 18 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block in Monday's win over the Blazers.
He was iffy coming in with a sprained ankle, but was able to go tonight. Props to West for playing through the injury, and several of his boards came down the stretch and helped seal the win for his team.
 David West-F - Hornets Jan. 25 - 10:18 am et

David West (ankle) and Morris Peterson (back spasms) are both questionable for Monday's game.
Hopefully we'll have an update following shootaround -- New Orleans has four games this week and it's tempting to roll the dice on West, whose sprained ankle is considered "mild."
