Chris Henry had chronic brain damage at the time of his death, according to scientists affiliated with West Virginia University.
Henry, who died after falling out of a truck driven by his fiancee last December, had football-related trauma in his brain, according to the report. Henry only played 55 NFL games at the relatively tame wide receiver position, so this raises the question about how players develop brain damage. We're not aware of any concussions confirmed by the Bengals during Henry's career. |
