Broncos OLB Jarvis Moss insists he never considered quitting football during his three-day hiatus from camp.
"Life stuff caught up to me and I needed time to myself," Moss said. "Coach gave me a few days to get my stuff together before I came back out here, and I did that." The 2007 first-rounder is facing long odds to make the final roster.

Moss' odds of making the roster took a big hit when he skipped three days of work. He was already on the bubble because he doesn't fit Denver's scheme.

Broncos DL Marcus Thomas said after Sunday's practice that Jarvis Moss intends to return to the team on Monday.
Thomas and Moss played together in college and are close friends. Moss was excused from Saturday's practice while he contemplated retirement. It sounds like he'll try to keep playing, but Moss will return on the roster bubble.

Broncos OLB/DE Jarvis Moss has left training camp and is reportedly considering retirement.
KDVR-TV in Denver is reporting that Moss doesn't know if he wants to play football anymore. Coach Josh McDaniels confirmed that Moss has left Broncos training camp for "a very personal reason." He offered no timetable for Moss to return to the team.

The Broncos reportedly shopped Jarvis Moss for a seventh-round pick in the second day of the draft.
Moss was the No. 17 overall pick under old coach Mike Shanahan in 2007. The new staff clearly didn't see much from Moss at pre-draft minicamps. He's on the roster for now, but may be cut if he doesn't pick it up this summer.
