Bucs CB Aqib Talib (hamstring) is expected to start against the Jets Sunday.
This is big for the Bucs' secondary. Talib, their top corner, sat out last week's game against the Panthers. With Kellen Clemens under center and Talib now likely to be active, Jerricho Cotchery and Braylon Edwards become very shaky fantasy plays.

Bucs CB Aqib Talib (hamstring) is inactive for Week 13, as expected.
Panthers WR Steve Smith gets a major upgrade and should be started in all leagues with the Bucs' shutdown corner out. Other Bucs inactives: QB Rudy Carpenter, DE Michael Bennett, OG Shawn Murphy, OT James Lee, WR Michael Clayton, WR Terrence Nunn, and DT Roy Miller.

Upgrade Steve Smith's matchup significantly. Talib, a shadow corner, is officially a game-time decision, but the smart money is on him sitting out this week.

Bucs CB Aqib Talib (hamstring) missed practice again on Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 13.
Coach Raheem Morris is "hopeful" Talib will face Carolina, but he's a game-time decision. Talib held Steve Smith to four yards on one catch in their meeting earlier this season, so his absence would give Smith's Week 13 matchup a sizable upgrade. We'll know Talib's status at noon ET Sunday.

Bucs CB Aqib Talib is in danger of missing Sunday's game with a hamstring injury.
Talib was held out of Thursday's practice after participating in a limited fashion Wednesday. The absence of the Bucs' shadow corner would be a boon for Panthers WR Steve Smith, who is starting to look like a viable WR2 this week.

Bucs CB Aqib Talib left Sunday's game with a hamstring injury and did not return.
Talib left late in the game, forcing Derrick Roberson to try to cover Roddy White on Atlanta's game-winning possession. Talib tried to stretch out the hammy but was unable to run.
