Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said part of the reason Peyton Hillis wasn't used as a short-yardage runner in Week 14 was because of an injury to FB Spencer Larsen.
Larsen's opening-kickoff injury forced Hillis into more lead blocking. Still, McDaniels confirmed after the game that he views Knowshon Moreno as his best goal-line and short-yardage back. Hillis, who has just 16 touches on offense all season, figures to have a very insignificant role Sunday even if Correll Buckhalter (ankle) doesn't play. Source: Denver Post
