Former Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell has put his pro career on hold and taken a position on Oklahoma State's coaching staff.
Mike Leach's last uber-productive system passer will be a quality control coach for the Cowboys. Harrell got a sniff from the Browns after going undrafted in 2009, but wasn't signed and flamed out with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The 24-year-old left Texas Tech as the NCAA's all-time leader with 134 career passing touchdowns. He was fourth in 2008 Heisman voting.

Former Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell has agreed to terms with the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Harrell set the D-I record for career TD passes (134) and threw for a mind boggling 15,371 yards in three years as Tech's starter, but still barely got a sniff from the big leagues. In Canada, Harrell will have to get past starter Darian Durant and backups Steven Jyles and Dalton Bell to earn snaps.

Former Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell is still hoping to land a free agent contract with the Browns.
Harrell is currently working out with his brother Clark and a strength coach at Abilene Christian University. The Browns invited Graham to a tryout in early May but didn't tender him a contract. That's probably not a good sign.

The Browns let former Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell leave Berea without a contract after his minicamp tryout.
Harrell lacks a great arm and athleticism, but he can thank B.J. Symons, Kliff Kingsbury, Cody Hodges for not having an NFL contract. A QB from any school in the nation other than Texas Tech would've at least been a seventh round pick after averaging 44 TDs passes a season as a three-year starter.

Updating a previous item, Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell has not signed a free agent contract with the Browns.
Harrell was invited to Cleveland's upcoming minicamp, but isn't signed. If it's up to his college coach, Mike Leach, it's a safe bet he won't be a Brown.

The Browns have reportedly signed Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell.
Choosing to sign with Cleveland is a surprise after Tech coach Mike Leach lambasted Eric Mangini over the weekend. Despite his record-setting college career and top-flight accuracy, there are concerns that Harrell is a marginal talent who was simply a product of Leach's system.
