Luke Schenn had his first NHL career two-goal game as the Leafs blanked the Sens 5-0 on Saturday night.
Schenn now has 12 points in 56 contests for the Leafs this season. The three points snapped his eight-game point-less drought. In the last three contests, Schenn has averaged 21:45 per contest for the Leafs, and seems to be earning his stripes for Ron Wilson recently. Having a young(ish) mentor in Dion Phaneuf might just help accelerate Schenn's development in the NHL. Phil Kessel also picked up two goals and an assist in tonight's victory.
