Rodney Stuckey has spent this summer focusing on improving his conditioning and his jump shot.
Nothing wrong with improved conditioning, but the big question with Stuckey from a fantasy standpoint is whether or not working on his jump shot included expanding his range. Stuckey's fantasy value has been held in check by the fact that he has only averaged 0.3 threes per game each of the past to seasons. Until we see otherwise, we're not holding out hope for a dramatic improvement in that department.

Magic Johnson said Friday that he'd like to be part of a group that buys the Pistons, or at least would be interested in joining the team in a front office role.
Magic is from Lansing, Mich. and went to Michigan State. Although he currently has a small piece of the Lakers right now, he's looking for a larger role. Magic stressed that he has had no formal talks with the Davidson family, who is selling the Pistons. The Pistons certainly could use some of Magic's trademark energy.

The Detroit News reports that an investment group has an NBA team "under contract" to play in Las Vegas.
Assuming this is true, it's unclear which team might be under contract. The Pistons are for sale, but owner Karen Davidson has made clear her interest in selling to a local buyer. Regardless, this Vegas deal would still require a new arena to be built with public funds, so consider us skeptical for now that it's actually on the verge of happening.

There are indications that the Pistons might be in the market for a starting-caliber point guard this offseason, a seeming vote of no-confidence in Rodney Stuckey.
The Pistons have a glut of guards (Ben Gordon, Rip Hamilton, Will Bynum, Stuckey) but no real interior presence, and it's surprising to see them tamper with Stuckey's role. After all, he battled injuries and improved his averages this season to 16.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and just 2.2 turnovers per game.

Rodney Stuckey (bruised ribs/chest) will not play in Wednesday's season finale against the Wolves.
No word on if Stuckey aggravated his injury against the Raptors on Monday, or if he's just suffering from general soreness. Either way, this issue should not linger into next season. Will Bynum becomes a risky but viable option for Wednesday.

Rodney Stuckey returned from a rib injury on Monday, playing 20 minutes off the Pistons bench and scoring four points on 1-of-6 shooting.
The rust on Stuckey's game was obvious, but we give him credit for toughing it out in a game with limited importance. He should get similar burn in Wednesday's season finale.

Rodney Stuckey is expected to play on Monday despite a rib injury.
He'll come off the bench behind Ben Gordon, while Rip Hamilton and Chris Wilcox have been ruled out.

Rodney Stuckey (ribs) and Richard Hamilton (ankle) are both out for Friday's game against the Heat.
Ben Gordon will draw the start alongside Will Bynum, and both are viable fantasy options. We suspect that Stuckey's ribs are worse than the team is letting on, and he's probably best off shutting it down for the final few games.

Rodney Stuckey (ribs) joins the growing list of injured Pistons who are questionable to play Friday.
Those already listed as questionable for Friday on the Pistons include Richard Hamilton (ankle), Tayshaun Prince (personal) and Jason Maxiell (back). Check back before gametime to see who, if any, are a go.

The X-rays on Rodney Stuckey's ribs came back negative.
Stuckey apparently took a shot in the ribs against the Sixers on Tuesday before getting hit again in the area on Wednesday. Rib X-rays don't always reveal small fractures, so we're not convinced yet that Stuckey is going to be OK here. Will Bynum could end being a big factor over the final four games of the season.
