Nov. 18 - 10:45 pm et
Dwyane Wade hit just 6-of-18 shots for 15 points in Wednesday's blowout loss to the Hawks.
The Hawks, who are now 10-2 and undefeated at home, dominated this game from the start, and this was the first time Wade scored less than 20 points after doing so in 23 straight games coming in.

Dwyane Wade made a 3-pointer with 0.1 points left on Saturday to give the Heat a one-point victory over the winless Nets. He finished with 22 points, eight rebounds, six assists, six steals and two blocks.
Wade also broke his own franchise record by scoring at least 20 points in 22 consecutive games. He continues to amaze.

The Heat moved to 6-1 on the season thanks to another brilliant performance from Dwyane Wade on Tuesday -- he had 41 points (14-of-29 FGs, 12-of-13 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, three steals, one block and just two turnovers.
Wade's ability to shoot double-digit FTs on a consistent basis makes him even more valuable in leagues that count FTs made. He shows no signs of slowing down after leading the league in scoring last season (and finishing eighth in assists).

Heat owner Mickey Arison said he has "every indication" that Dwyane Wade wants to remain in Miami for the rest of his career.
Wade is widely expected to become an unrestricted FA next summer, but the Heat are in a position to pay him $30 million more than any other team.

Dwyane Wade scored 40 points and filled the stat sheet as the Heat beat the Wizards on Wednesday.
Wade added four rebounds, five assists, a steal, two blocks and two threes on the night, in what was easily his best game of the young season. The Heat improved to 4-1 with the win.

Dywane Wade missed Monday's practice to appear in court to take care of a legal matter related to a failed business interest.
This is probably good news for Wade, as the more rest he gets the better. He should be good to go for Tuesday's game against the Suns.

Dwayne Wade scored his 10,000th point on Sunday during a 25-point effort in the Heat's 95-87 win over the Bulls.
Wade becomes the first Miami Heat player to accomplish the feat, and of the other 42 active players who are on that list, only Lebron James and Allen Iverson have a higher scoring average than him.

Dwyane Wade had 26 points, five boards, five assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 10-of-22 shooting Wednesday.
This is the last time you'll see a blurb after such an average, Wade-like game. He looks healthy to us.

Dwayne Wade played for the second consecutive night on Thursday after missing time earlier in the week due to a calf injury.
He was his normal self, hitting 7-of-12 from the foul line on his way to 13 points, two rebounds, five assists, and three steals. The Heat don't appear to be putting the kid gloves on him, which ought to make owners feel good about his injury risk for the time-being.

Dwyane Wade returned from a calf injury to hit 13-of-23 shots for 35 points, five rebounds, two assists and six steals in Wednesday's win over the Grizzlies.
Nice. He had been out with a calf injury, but looked to be in nearly mid-season form tonight. We like him at No. 3 overall, but would be lying if we said we weren't worried about his ability to stay healthy and on the court.

Dwyane Wade (calf) returned to practice on Monday but his availability for the remaining exhibitions is unclear.
Wade said his priority is to be in condition for the season by working harder in practices, which makes it sound like he might opt to skip the remaining preseason games. Either way, he should be raring to go when the regular season begins.

Dwayne Wade was held out of Sunday's practice with a bruised calf, but says he plans to be ready for the Heat's season opener.
Wade said he probably wouldn't play in the team's next preseason game against the Grizzlies on Wednesday, which isn't surprising. A consensus No. 3 pick for the most part, his recent injury woes aren't doing owners any favors in the heartburn department.

Dwyane Wade is day-to-day after being treated for a bruised calf on Friday.
The good news is that Wade didn't aggravate his strained rib muscle, and this calf injury doesn't sound serious. On Saturday the Heat will re-evaluate injured big men Jermaine O'Neal (groin), Udonis Haslem (back), and Jamaal Magloire (ankle).

Dwyane Wade returned to action after missing two games with a strained muscle in his ribcage on Thursday, but left in the third quarter after tripping and injuring his calf while completing a breakaway layup.
Wade will have additional tests on the injury. "I hope it's just a bruise," he said. "It's sore right now." And in addition, his ribs still aren't exactly 100 percent. "It felt all right," he said of the rib injury. "It was a little bit stiff, but it was no pain." It's a good thing Wade is playing for a contract, but his early injury woes are still very concerning.

Dywane Wade returned from his rib injury and had 14 points, three boards, six assists, a steal and a 3-pointer on 5-of-13 shooting in Thursday's win.
This was the first win for the Heat in the preseason, but the real story was that Wade was back in action. This should help ease fears for those of you with drafts this weekend, but we still need to make sure he feels good when he wakes up in the morning.

Dwyane Wade missed his second straight preseason game with a strained muscle in his left rib cage.
This is not your ordinary rib injury, although Wade has been practicing and could play on Thursday night. The fact he's not cruising through preseason is a little bothersome, but he's still worth taking with the No. 3 pick in most leagues.

Dwyane Wade (rib) practiced on Monday but he has lingering pain and is not certain whether he'll play on Wednesday.
"I know until that [discomfort] goes away the training staff is not going to want me to go out there," said Wade. It would be surprising to see him rush back during the preseason, especially heading into back-to-back games.

Dwyane Wade will miss Sunday's exhibition game against the Spurs due to a strained muscle in his left rib cage.
Wade was injured in Wednesday’s loss at Orlando, but was able to finish the game. The MRI taken revealed no major damage, but he was diagnosed with a left intercostal strain and is listed day-to-day. "I’ve got a long season ahead of me. I’m not trying to be a hero right now," Wade said. "I don’t think I got hit or anything. But you never know. You just want to make sure you don’t want to make it worse (by playing)." This is just another reminder that Wade is not an iron man. Jermaine O'Neal (foot) is also out.

Dwyane Wade joined LeBron James by not committing to play for Team USA in the 2010 world championships.
"I'm in-between," said Wade. "I have to wait to see how this season goes." Both Wade and James can become unrestricted free agents next summer, which is probably the main reason they haven't committed. LeBron also has a role in a movie that could lead to a schedule conflict.

As Dwyane Wade enters his seventh season, he expects to have the best basketball year of his career, even though many critics think he peaked last season.
"That's fine," Wade said Tuesday. "I expect myself to do a lot more than other people expect me to do. So with that said, it's easy on me." Wade is in the prime of his career at age 27, playing for a maximum contract and is on a team that needs him to do most of the heavy lifting. As long as he's healthy, expect another monster year from D-Wade this season.
