Bears wide receivers coach Darryl Drake said that Devin Hester "doesn't need 60 plays."
Drake was talking about the progress of Devin Aromashodu and how he can fit into the offense. Still, it's hard to see Aromashodu cutting into Hester's playing time. Hester has been the team's most reliable receiver and appears fresh. Hester remains a decent WR2 against the Eagles' banged up secondary Sunday night.

Devin Hester caught seven passes for 48 yards against the 49ers in Week 10.
The reception number is nice, but this was a poor game for Hester. He was penalized twice, slipped on one interception, and had his route cut short by the umpire on another interception. Hester had been streaking coming into the game, so he should bounce back as viable WR2 option against Philly next week.

Devin Hester caught six passes for 94 yards in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.
Hester's ankle injury was a non-factor as he went deep and caught screens. The majority of Hester's catches came before complete garbage time. He's on pace for 82 catches, 1,096 yards and six touchdowns, very solid WR2 numbers. Hester gets the 49ers on Thursday night.

Devin Hester (ankle) will start for the Bears Sunday.
Hester missed practice early in the week and limited on Friday, but he's a go. He has a plus matchup against the Cardinals weak secondary and we consider him a low-end WR2.

Updating a previous item, Devin Hester's (ankle) practice participation Friday was "limited." He's listed as questionable for Week 9.
However, both ESPN's John Clayton and Brad Biggs of the Chicago Sun Times report that Hester will be active against the Cardinals. The injury does make Hester a slightly more risky play than usual in the favorable matchup.

Devin Hester (ankle) returned to Bears practice on Friday, and beat writer Brad Biggs reports that Hester "will start" Sunday against Arizona.
"I'm 100 percent," Hester said. "I'm ready to go." Hester was held out of practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, but has been expected to play against Arizona all along. The matchup is favorable at home, where the Bears play much better. Chicago is experiencing a flurry of good weather recently, with temperatures in the 60s and little precipitation.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, Devin Hester (ankle) is "still expected to play Sunday" despite missing practice again Thursday.
Expect him to practice Friday. Hester may lose punt return duties to Earl Bennett, so he'll be a riskier option in return-yardage leagues. Still, the streaking Hester can be used as a WR3 as long as he suits up against the Cardinals.

Devin Hester (ankle) missed a second straight day of practice Thursday.
Hester has a sprained right ankle, but he's stated that he will play this week against the Cardinals. It doesn't sound like the sprain is of the high-ankle variety. Check back Friday to make sure he at least participates in a limited fashion.

Devin Hester was held out of Bears practice Wednesday with an ankle injury.
Beat writer Brad Biggs says it "might be a sprain," but it's probably very minor. "I'm alright," Hester assured. "I'm going to play (in Week 9)." Hester was not known to be injured in last week's blowout defeat of the lowly Browns. He's averaging 89 yards a game in the last three weeks.

Devin Hester caught seven passes for 81 yards in the Bears' win over the Browns.
Hester was targeted eight times on the day by Jay Cutler and was stopped a yard shy of nabbing a touchdown on a long catch-and-run in the second half. He nearly broke a punt return out for a touchdown but was stopped by the punter, which should never happen with Hester. The Bears go up against Arizona in Week 9.

Devin Hester caught eight passes for 101 yards and one touchdown in Week 7 against the Bengals.
Hester lost a fumble in the second quarter, but produced the first 100-yard receiving game of his career and capped the strong effort with an easy garbage-time touchdown. Hester has 373 receiving yards through six games after totaling 665 last season.

Devin Hester caught six passes for 83 yards and ran twice for 11 yards in Week 6 against the Falcons.
Hester also racked up 54 yards on three punt returns. He was once again a major target for QB Jay Cutler, who looked his way close to 10 times in the contest. Hester was even targeted in the end zone during the first quarter, but Cutler's pass sailed a bit long. He remains a must-start next week against the Bengals.

Devin Hester (neck) participated in the Bears' light workout Monday.
Hester just strained a muscle in Week 4 and is fine as the Bears come out of their bye. He'll be 100 percent this week and will start against the Falcons.

Devin Hester, who is currently on a bye, revealed that the neck injury he suffered in Week 4 was a strained muscle.
The Bears claimed the injury was to Hester's shoulder, presumably to make it sound less serious. Either way, it won't stop Hester from missing any games.

Bears coach Lovie Smith is expecting Devin Hester to play in Week 6 against the Falcons.
The Bears are still saying Hester hurt his shoulder, and not his neck, in Sunday's win over the Lions. Either way, the injury is not a concern and Hester should be 100 percent after the bye.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Devin Hester's Week 4 injury was to his neck, but it is not serious.
It was probably a stinger and won't keep him out of any games. The Bears have a bye in Week 5 anyways. The injury limited Chicago in the vertical passing game Sunday, but Hester should be 100 percent for the Falcons in Week 5.

Devin Hester is out for the rest of Sunday's Lions-Bears game with a shoulder injury.
He finished with one grab for two yards. Hester was hurt on an attempted wide receiver screen near the goal line, taking a big shot to the upper body from hard-hitting Lions FS Louis Delmas. The injury did not appear serious at first, but X-rays in the locker room may have revealed a dislocation or break. In a best case scenario, Hester only has a shoulder "stinger."

Devin Hester went to the locker room in the second quarter of Sunday's game with an shoulder injury.
Hester was hit hard on a touchdown-saving tackle just short of the goal line, and may have suffered a stinger. The injury did not appear to be serious, but Hester has been deemed "questionable" to return.
 Devin Hester-WR- BearsSep. 27 - 7:50 pm et
Devin Hester caught five passes for 76 yards and the game-winning touchdown for the Bears in Week 3.
Hester made some really tough catches, picking one up off his cleats and making a high fingertip catch on another. He beat the secondary deep in the first half but was overthrown by Jay Cutler. Hester isn't a true No. 1 receiver by any stretch, but he's looking vastly improved as a wideout.
 Devin Hester-WR- BearsSep. 20 - 7:27 pm et
Devin Hester caught only four passes for 21 yards in the Bears' Week 2 win.
Hester only averaged a mere 5.3 yards-per-catch. He was targeted a couple times deep, but the ball was overthrown. Hester did make a five-yard catch for a first down to seal the deal for a Bears win in the fourth quarter, though. He also added 14 punt return yards on two tries.
