Matthew Stafford (probable, knee) returned to a full practice Friday.
This is Stafford's first full practice in over a month, which bodes well for his health and Calvin Johnson's fantasy owners. Stafford was struggling to consistently connect with Calvin while battling his bum knee earlier on.

Matthew Stafford (knee) was limited in Lions practice Wednesday.
Stafford likely be limited throughout the week, then listed as probable on Friday. As usual, he's in no danger of missing Sunday's bout with Cleveland.

Matthew Stafford still doesn't put much weight on his right knee when he gets up off the ground, observes the Detroit Free Press.
Stafford's knee isn't 100 percent, but that's not the reason he's thrown six picks and three touchdowns since returning to the lineup in Week 8. He's under constant pressure with a no real weapons outside of Calvin Johnson and his running game is struggling. The rookie is taking an absolute pounding.

Matthew Stafford completed 29-of-51 passes for 224 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.
Stafford also rushed four times for 28 yards. His knee didn't look like it was in great shape, but it didn't bother him too much. Stafford was under heavy pressure the entire game and suffered from some bad drops in the first half. He has a nice matchup against the Browns next week, but will be a risky play -- even as a QB2.

Matthew Stafford (probable, knee) was limited in Friday's practice.
He was limited every day this week, but will start at Minnesota. Calvin Johnson (knee) practiced in full Wednesday through Friday, so Stafford's top weapon is close to 100%. Expect 35-40 attempts from the Lions on Sunday.

Matthew Stafford (knee) was limited again in Thursday's practice.
Stafford will start against the Vikings, but he's clearly not yet 100 percent. Keep him benched in two-quarterback leagues until he turns it around.

Stafford is vlikely to start at Minnesota, but his knee sprain is still bothering him. He should be reserved in two-QB leagues until he shows more.

Lions beat writer Tom Kowalski believes that Matthew Stafford is still dealing with the effects of his early-season knee sprain.
Stafford was very wild in Sunday's loss to Seattle, and Kowalski notes that passers need a strong base to stay accurate. Several of Stafford's Week 9 attempts were completed only because his receivers made diving or one-handed catches. He won't be a good two-QB league bet against Minnesota.

Matthew Stafford threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns on 22-of-42 passing in Week 9, but was picked off five times as the Lions fell to Seattle 32-20, and a 1-7 record for the season.
Stafford started hot, throwing darts and engineering a 17-point first-quarter lead. The rookie completely tanked after that, however, struggling badly with his accuracy and not getting the football to Calvin Johnson. Stafford's body language certainly wasn't that of a poised leader. He still has a promising future, but has flopped in back-to-back matchups against awful secondaries (also St. Louis in Week 8).

Matthew Stafford (knee) is listed as probable for Week 9 despite being "limited" in Friday's practice.
With Calvin Johnson set to return, Stafford is a low-end QB2 at Seattle.

Matthew Stafford (knee) was limited in Thursday's practice.
Stafford is fully expected to start against the Seahawks, who rank No. 18 in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. As long as Calvin Johnson returns, Stafford is worth consideration in two-quarterback leagues.

Matthew Stafford said he never thought about his right knee injury during the Week 8 loss to the Rams.
Stafford showed some mobility on the knee, scrambling for a four-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. The knee is sore and Stafford is getting daily treatment, but he'll almost certainly start Sunday against the Seahawks.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz said that Matthew Stafford isn't completely out of the woods yet in terms of his knee injury.
Stafford came out of the Rams' loss in good shape, but Schwartz said he's still receiving treatment on the knee as the team protects against any setbacks. Stafford will almost certainly be under center when the Lions face the Seahawks on Sunday.

Matthew Stafford scored a rushing touchdown, but completed just 14-of-33 passes for 168 yards and an interception in Week 8 against the Rams.
The Lions fall to 1-6 with the loss. Stafford was fairly sharp, but Detroit's hobbled receiving corps had at least eight bad drops in the game, one of which resulted in a red zone interception. His rushing touchdown came on a four-yard scramble at the start of the fourth quarter.

Matthew Stafford practiced in a limited fashion for the third straight day Thursday.
It's an encouraging sign for Stafford that he's yet to have a setback after the early-week practices. Though the Lions have not officially announced it, he's on track to start against the Rams Sunday.

Matthew Stafford (knee) practiced once again Thursday and appears likely to start against the Rams Sunday.
Nothing is official yet, and knowing the Lions it probably won't be official anytime soon. Still, Stafford is looking like a solid start in two-QB leagues with top receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) also practicing Thursday. The Rams are ranked 25th in the league against the pass.
