 Antti Miettinen-W- WildNov. 28 - 9:09 am et
Antti Miettinen (flu) could be the next Wally Pipp.
Miettinen missed Friday's game with flu-like symptoms and Chuck Kobasew took his place on the top line and managed the hat-trick. Miettinen only has three goals and nine points in 22 games, so he is not exactly a fantasy stud. The Wild like Kobasew's scoring touch and he could be on the top line with Mikko Koivu and Andrew Brunette for a while.

 Robbie Earl-W- WildNov. 13 - 4:14 pm et
Robbie Earl has been recalled from the minors on an emergency basis.
Chuck Kobasew has an upper-body injury and is listed as day-to-day, but it is unclear if he or Earl will suit up in Friday's game against the Capitals.

 Eric Belanger-C- WildOct. 31 - 10:16 pm et
Eric Belanger's goal with one second left in the first period was the winner in the Wild's 2-1 victory over the Penguins Saturday night.
Kyle Brodziak had Minnesota's other goal. Chuch Kobasew, Brent Burns, Martin Havlat and Greg Zanon recorded assists in the win. Marek Zidlicky led all Wild players with seven penalty minutes.
 Marco Sturm-W- BruinsSep. 13 - 9:14 am et
Marco Sturm seems fully recovered from multiple left knee surgeries and is set to participate in the Bruins' training camp without restrictions.
This is great news for Sturm owners. There is a pretty good chance he will skate on Boston's second line alongside David Krejci as it appears that coach Claude Julien would like to keep Patrice Bergeron, Chuck Kobasew and Mark Recchi together as the team's third unit. Blake Wheeler could play alongside Marc Savard and Milan Lucic on the Bruin's top line.

 Phil Kessel-W- Maple LeafsJul. 22 - 7:26 am et
With the Bruins very close to cap they may have to move a player or two to re-sign Phil Kessel to an extension.
Kessel remains the team's last RFA to sign. Boston has about $54 million committed to 22 salaries, including the buyouts of Glen Murray and Peter Schaefer, and next season's cap is set at $56.8 million. Aaron Ward ($2.5 million) and Chuck Kobasew ($2.33 million) may be trade candidates if the Bruins want to lock up Kessel. "Certainly Phil is a type of player that if it comes to a point where I have to make a move to get him in the mix, I will certainly do that," general manager Peter Chiarelli said. Stay tuned.

 Mark Recchi-W- BruinsMay. 13 - 8:34 am et
Mark Recchi turned back the clock Tuesday and collected one goal and one assist in game six against Carolina.
Boston's third line did most of the damage in the do-or-die game for Boston. Chuck Kobasew also had a goal and an assist while Patrice Bergeron played his best game in years with two marvelous assists. The Bruins' depth has been their strong point throughout the season and in the past two games, it was also the reason they've won the past two games.
 Milan Lucic-W- BruinsMay. 6 - 11:38 pm et
Milan Lucic gave the Bruins the early lead with his first of the playoffs, but it wouldn't stand up in Boston's 3-2 loss in overtime to Carolina on Wednesday night.
Lucic had five shots on goal in over 15 minutes of ice time. Veteran Mark Recchi also scored his first goal of the postseason to tie the game midway through the third period. Dennis Wideman, Marc Savard, Chuck Kobasew, and Steve Montador all registered an assist in the loss.
 Mark Recchi-W- BruinsMar. 31 - 9:23 am et
Mark Recchi is riding a five game point-scoring streak.
The veteran winger has five goals and seven points during the streak. He has found chemistry with center Patrice Bergeron and Chuck Kobasew. Recchi now has seven goals and nine points in 11 games and is fitting in at just the right time as Boston prepares for the post-season.

 Mark Recchi-W- BruinsMar. 8 - 9:01 am et
Mark Recchi scored two goals against Chicago and enjoyed playing with new linemates Patrice Bergeron and Chuck Kobasew.
The line accounted for five scoring points and Recchi and Bergeron were the game's first and third stars. We suspect Boston coach Claude Julien will keep these three players together for the next little while. Adjust your lineup accordingly.
