Junior WR Da'Rick Rogers has transferred from Tennessee to Tennessee Tech and took part in team meetings on Sunday. Rogers was indefinitely suspended by head coach Derek Dooley last week after he reportedly violated the school's substance abuse policy. The junior had previously considered transferring to Georgia State this past spring after having multiple run-ins with coaches, even throwing tantrums on the sideline during games according to CBS Sports' Bruce Feldman. Rogers is an ultra talented receiver and will need to stay on track at his new home. Tennessee Tech recently graduated a receiver with NFL talent in Tim Benford, who led the program in receiving for four straight years. We believe Rogers is eligible to play immediately.
