Oklahoma junior RB Roy Finch has been practicing as a slot WR in some sets during the Sooners first few days of practice. The team is loaded with running back talent and a bit thin at receiver due to suspensions, so the experiment makes sense. Oklahoma previously used DeMarco Murray in a similar role and lost an exceptional slot threat last season in Ryan Broyles, but Finch's smaller frame could make some question the decision. The junior is exceptionally quick and bursts out of his cuts and has flashed receiving ability from the backfield in passing situations. Aug. 6 - 2:29 pm et Source: Jake Trotter on Twitter |
