Jason Verrett: Verrett receives good news on shoulder injury

    Jason Verrett - DB - TCU - Feb. 26 - 1:43 pm et

TCU CB Jason Verrett received good news from Combine doctors when they examined his shoulder injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Doctors told Verrett he may not need surgery to repair his torn labrum after all. In fact, the shoulder "looked good," according to Rapoport. "He’ll get his own expert to check it out this week, distribute info to teams." Verrett played this season with the injury and was planning on having surgery in mid-march, per Tony Pauline.
