Massachusetts senior TE Rob Blanchflower accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl.
Blanchflower was a three-year starter at UMass. An undisclosed injury to his lower body caused the 6-foot-4, 260-pound senior to miss the first three games of the season, but he returned to haul in seven catches against Vandy in late September. Blanchflower has the requisite tools to potentially crack an NFL roster, but scouts question his tenacity as a blocker and his quickness as a receiver. Nobody questions the hands or the frame.
