While UMass held their Pro Day on Thursday, WR Tajae Sharpe stood on his testing numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine.
According to TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline, Sharpe did participate in position drills. Just no tests. For those, you'll have to reach back to February's Combine. At the annual scouting entity, the 6-foot-2, 194-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds and notched jumps of 33.5 inches (vertical) and 114 inches (broad). NFL Media analyst Lance Zierlein believes Sharpe "has the talent and football character to become a productive NFL receiver," while colleague Daniel Jeremiah noted during the Senior Bowl practice week that no other wideout consistently gave opposing defenders fits the way Sharpe did.
