Andy Isabella: UMass QB Ford sees Isabell as leader

    Andy Isabella - WR - MAS - Jul. 10 - 1:08 pm et

UMass redshirt junior QB Andrew Ford noticed an improved leadership component from junior WR Andy Isabella this spring.
"Really I think he is a really big part of why the wide receiver room has been so successful this spring and taking those guys under his wings and teaching them how to be successful at this level," Ford said. Isabella (5'9/186) initially joined UMass as a running back before shifting over to wide receiver prior to the 2016 season. That move worked swimmingly for him, as he finished the past campaign having caught 62 passes for 801 yards and seven touchdowns after logging just five offensive touches as a true freshman.
