Tiger Woods was "seriously injured" in a car accident near his home early Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Woods was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Woods reportedly pulled out of his driveway around 2:25 AM. He proceeded to hit a fire hydrant, and then drove into a tree at his neighbor's property. Highway patrol said the airbags in Woods' car did not deploy, which means the car was traveling slower than 33 MPH. Tiger Woods' agent told CNBC said Woods is "fine." ESPN is reporting that Woods has been released from the hospital after being treated for "facial lacerations". We will update as more details become available. Nov. 27 - 2:50 pm et Source: ESPN |
