The opening round of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions has been delayed until Sunday and the event has been reduced to 54 holes as a result of relentless wind.
After a trio of one-hour delays this morning, PGA TOUR officials made the decision at about 10:15 a.m. local time to bang the entire day. Jason Dufner and Rickie Fowler will remain on hold to begin the tournament on the first tee on Sunday morning. As was the goal today, the objective for Sunday will be to play 36 holes with the first ball aloft at 7:10 a.m. local time. Jan. 5 - 3:23 pm et
