Charlie Beljan: Beljan perseveres; stakes 2-stroke CMNHC lead

    Charlie Beljan - G - PGA - Nov. 10 - 4:13 pm et

Charlie Beljan persevered after a late night and a plethora of medical tests to post a 1-under-par 36-35=71 in the third round of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic to post a two-stroke lead after 54 holes.
The final verdict on Beljan's Friday health scare seems to be a panic attack, as speculated yesterday evening and further confirmed by multiple sources. He answered the bell on Saturday, but immediately dropped shots on two of his first three holes. He bounced back to play his next nine holes in 4-under, before dropping his third and final stroke on the par-3 12th. It would then be pars to the house, reaching the 54-hole mark at 13-under 203. The rookie leads the tournament in driving distance at 309.0 yards and is tied for second in GIR at 77.8 percent. Nov. 10 - 4:13 pm et
