    Russell Knox: R. Knox earns first top 10 at Frys.com Open

    Russell Knox settled for a 2-under-par 34-35=69 in the final round of the Frys.com Open to finish the week at 12-under 272, earning his first top 10.
    The rookie circled four birdies and squared two bogeys in his last lap around CordeValle Golf Club, landing 16 GIR but needing 33 putts. The ball-striking was solid all week, as he split 73.2 percent of his fairways and found 75 percent of his GIR. His previous best finish was a tie for 13th last week at TPC Summerlin.
