Thomas Bjørn: Bjorn a veteran giant killer at Match Play

    Thomas Bjørn - G - PGA - Feb. 18 - 9:23 pm et

Two years removed from bouncing Tiger Woods in the opening round of the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, Thomas Bjorn has the task of trying to do the same to Peter Hanson.
Bjorn is no stranger to this format, having eight appearances under his belt already. He was bounced by Francesco Molinari in the first round of last year’s trip to Dove Mountain. Don’t expect his opener with Hanson to draw much attention, but the winner of that match will advance in the Player Bracket to face an opponent entering the week without a victory in this format. The winner of Webb Simpson (0-1) v. David Lynn (0-0) awaits. Feb. 18 - 9:23 pm et
