Fred Funk underwent knee replacement surgery in Jacksonville, Florida today.
This was more or less expected ever since he had complications from torn cartilege and a staph infection in 2008. By virtue of his victory at the 2005 PLAYERS, the 53-year-old remains fully exempt on the PGA Tour through 2010.
