Jeff Overton: Overton cards career-low 62; leads by 4 in WV

    Jeff Overton - G - PGA - Jul. 30 - 7:25 pm et

Jeff Overton followed his opening 64 with a bogey-free, 8-under-par 31-31=62 in the second round of The Greenbrier Classic to take a four-stroke lead into the weekend.
He's been nearly flawless this week, hitting 23 (of 28) fairways and 30 GIR, and taking a mere 53 putts. He leads the field with 15 birdies, the longest of which today disappeared from 17'11" at the 11th hole. The 62 is a new personal low on the PGA TOUR. It's also the lowest of the day in White Sulphur Springs. A change of inclement weather is in the forecast for Saturday afternoon, but tee times will remain unadjusted. Jul. 30 - 7:25 pm et
