    Robert Garrigus: Garrigus takes a bumpy ride in CMNHC opener

    Robert Garrigus carded a 4-under-par 32-36=68 on the Palm Course in his opening round of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic, finishing three strokes back of the clubhouse lead.
    Garrigus' lone title on the PGA TOUR occurred at this event in 2010, and he tied for 10th in 2008. Given that success and since he's 26th on the money list -- best in the field -- he's a favorite to win the season finale. He certainly looked like a winner going out today, circling four birdies against zero bogeys, but he doubled the par-5 first hole. He'd rebounded with a birdie, and then an eagle-3 at 7, but he closed with a bogey. Overall, he hit 13 greens and took 27 putts. Nov. 8 - 12:59 pm et
