Roger Clemens: Clemens not expected to pitch for HOU in '12

    Roger Clemens - S - NYY - Sep. 10 - 6:12 pm et

Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow said Monday that he has planned his rotation through the rest of the season and didn't include Roger Clemens.
Clemens has seven scoreless innings in two starts with the independent Sugar Land Skeeters, but said Friday that he doesn't think he's close to MLB-ready and was aiming to possibly join the Astros for spring training next year. There was speculation that the 50-year-old could make a start with the Astros this month, but that's looking more and more like a longshot. Sep. 10 - 6:12 pm et
