    David Weathers: Weathers open to comeback with Reds

    David Weathers told John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer that he would be open to making a comeback with the Reds.
    "Thatís the one place I wanted to play," said Weathers. "Once I got traded and I knew they probably werenít going to bring back, I thought that was it. Thatís not a ploy. Cincinnati is the only place I wanted to play." Weathers, 40, posted a 4.88 ERA in 25 relief appearances after the Reds shipped him to the Brewers last August. The Brewers wisely declined his $3.7 million option for 2010 last November. The Reds have yet to contact the veteran right-hander. Jun. 8 - 11:40 am et
