The Twins are expected to decline Scott Baker's (elbow) $9.25 million option for next season, but they could bring him back on an incentive-laden deal. Baker had Tommy John surgery back in mid-April and almost surely won't be ready for the start of next season, but he shouldn't miss more than a handful of starts if his rehab goes well. He has expressed interest in remaining in Minnesota. "I like it here," Baker said. "I'm not saying there aren't other great organizations because I'm sure there are, but this is all I know. My family likes it here. I'm comfortable." Aug. 12 - 9:18 am et Source:Minneapolis Star-Tribune
