Chan Ho Park: Report: Park won't return to Phillies

    Chan Ho Park - R - INT - Dec. 31 - 4:56 pm et

Chan Ho Park will not return to the Phillies next season, reports Todd Zolecki of MLB.com.
Park felt he was worth more than the one-year, $3 million deal offered by the Phillies in early December, but the signing of Danys Baez all but guarantees he'll move on. Park, 36, was punished to the tune of a 7.29 ERA over seven starts in 2009, but was essential to the Philadelphia bullpen down the stretch, tallying a 2.52 ERA in 38 appearances. Best-case scenario is that he finds a two-year deal similar to the one the Brewers gave LaTroy Hawkins. Dec. 31 - 4:56 pm et
