    Jason Schmidt: Dodgers' Schmidt makes first rehab start

    Jason Schmidt (shoulder) allowed two runs -- one earned -- and struck out six over five innings Tuesday in his first rehab start with Single-A Inland Empire.
    Schmidt didn't start his rehab assignment until he was already prepared to throw 90 pitches, so if the Dodgers like how he's performing, they could activate him at any time. Expectations should continue to be kept in check, though. May. 13 - 2:59 am et
