Jason Isringhausen revealed to St. Louis' KFNS 590 on Monday that he has been invited to throw a bullpen session this week for Reds management. Cincinnati GM Walt Jocketty may be doing Izzy a favor from their days together with the Cardinals, because we can't imagine him joining the first-place Reds no matter how well he throws. The 37-year-old Isringhausen last pitched in the majors back in June of 2009, when he allowed six hits and five walks in eight innings for the Rays. He had a 5.70 ERA in 2008 for the Cards.
