According to a baseball source, the Red Sox have expressed interest in signing free agent outfielder Torii Hunter. It's rumored that David Ortiz, a longtime friend and former teammate of Hunter's, has been actively recruiting him to come to Boston. The 37-year-old outfielder is coming off a strong offensive season in which he hit .313/.365/.451 with 16 homers and 92 RBI, and is expected to be a hot commodity on the free agent market.
