Carl Pavano: Mussina takes issue with Pavano's commitment

    Carl Pavano - S - MIN - Feb. 15 - 7:05 pm et

Mike Mussina chose to question Carl Pavano's commitment in a conversation with reporters on Thursday.
It seems like everyone in the Yankee clubhouse is going public with their grievances this year. "I'm just looking at it from the way each thing happened and the timing of each, and you form your own evaluation," Mussina said of Pavano's past injuries. "It didn't look good from a players and teammates standpoint. It didn't look good. Was everything just coincidence? Over and over again? I don't know." If his teammates don't want him around, the Yankees will have to dump as much of Pavano's contract as possible this spring. Such a move could put them in the market for another starter, perhaps Jon Lieber. Feb. 15 - 7:05 pm et
