Jarrod Washburn, a soon-to-be free agent, underwent arthroscopic surgery last week on his left knee. Washburn began feeling discomfort in his left knee about two months into the season. It gradually got worse and undoubtedly hurt his numbers down the stretch. He's hoping the surgery will take care of the pain for good and expects to be ready by the start of spring training.
