Aramis Ramirez: Aramis Ramirez will block any trade

    Aramis Ramirez - 3B - MLW - Jul. 2 - 10:10 am et

Aramis Ramirez has reiterated that's he'll exercise his no-trade clause to block any potential deal.
As a 10-and-5 player, A-Ram has the right to refuse any deal, and it sounds like he's perfectly happy on the floundering Cubs. The Cubbies have a $16 million option on the third baseman for 2012 but will undoubtedly give him a $2 million buyout instead. Ramirez is having a nice year at the plate, hitting .295/.339/.473 with 11 homers and 42 RBI. Jul. 2 - 10:10 am et
