J.D. Drew had surgery on his left shoulder to help temper the inflammation that plagued him during the second half of the 2009 season. Drew should enter spring training with no restrictions. You may recall that Drew's 2011 salary can be voided if he either spends 35+ days or finishes the 2010 season on the disabled list with an injury related to his pre-existing right shoulder condition.
