Free agent Adam Kennedy, who reportedly declined a one-year offer from the Angels on Tuesday, is asking for about $18 million over four years. Toronto seems to be the team most interested in Kennedy, but St. Louis, San Diego and San Francisco are also possibilities. Unlike Ray Durham, Mark Loretta, Ronnie Belliard and Tony Graffanino, Kennedy is a Type B free agent, meaning he wouldn't cost the signing team a draft pick. In one way, that makes him the most attractive member of the group. However, the others are all candidates not to be offered arbitration by Dec. 1, which would eliminate any compensation.
