Rod Barajas went 0-for-3 as the Jays' designated hitter Sunday in the 5-3 win over the Tigers. The Jays replaced a career .302/.420/.559 hitter with one who has batted .240/.288/.410 in 1,765 at-bats. That's what those in the know call a downgrade.
