According to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, it would be a "huge upset" if Mark Mulder doesn't attempt his comeback with the Brewers. The stars seem to be aligned considering Mulder's relationship with new pitching coach Rick Peterson. The 32-year-old southpaw missed the entire 2009 season rehabbing from shoulder surgery. Mulder hasn't pitched a full season in the major leagues since 2005, but he would be a low-cost gamble for the Brewers, who plan to upgrade their starting pitching this winter.
