Scott Miller of CBSSports.com hears that a deal between the Phillies and Jimmy Rollins is not close. The two sides continue to have dialogue, but Rollins' agent Dan Lozano is reportedly having conversations with an unidentified club. It's not clear who that might be, but some suspect the Tigers could be lingering. The 33-year-old shortstop originally wanted a five-year deal, but now that most of his alternatives have settled on their shortstops, he will almost certainly have to lower his demands.
