Tigers agreed to terms with outfielder Timo Perez on a one-year contract. The deal includes $150,000 in guaranteed money and a spot on the 40-man roster, and can be worth up to $525,000. Perez was designated for assignment last month and outrighted to the minors last week, but returns to Detroit after hitting .389 in 29 games with the Tigers in 2007.
