Michael Cuddyer: Phillies view Cuddyer as "middle priority"

    Michael Cuddyer - OF - COL - Nov. 13 - 4:57 pm et

The Phillies view free agent Michael Cuddyer as a "middle priority," according to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe.
"[Cuddyer is] about a middle priority," a source told Cafardo. "They'd love to have him, but the Phillies aren't going to go crazy to make it happen, either." The Phillies met with Cuddyer last week and gave him a tour of Citizens Bank Park and brought him to lunch. Cuddyer is looking for a three-year deal. If his annual asking price drops, the Phillies might become a more realistic possibility. A Type-A free agent, the 32-year-old outfielder batted .284/.346/.459 with 20 home runs, 70 RBI and an .805 OPS over 584 plate appearances this season. In Philly, he'd be a starting left fielder and part-time first baseman. Nov. 13 - 4:57 pm et
