Alex Speier of WEEI.com hears that a trade of R.A. Dickey to the Red Sox is "extremely unlikely." Speier says the talks between the two clubs were "very preliminary," and he confirms a report from Andy Martino of the New York Daily News that the two sides didn't discuss specific prospects that it would take to land Dickey.
