    David Ross - C - BOS - Nov. 5 - 8:48 am et

According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Yankees "long have had interest" in free agent David Ross.
New York is expected to work something out this winter with Russell Martin, but Ross could be brought on as a reliable backup. The 35-year-old hit .256/.321/.449 with nine home runs in 196 plate appearances this season for Atlanta. The Braves are hoping they can re-sign him. Nov. 5 - 8:48 am et
