Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports that the Angels are "considering" free agent reliever Ryan Madson. However, Heyman hears that Madson would likely have to accept a backloaded deal with the Angels because they want to avoid luxury tax implications. The 31-year-old right-hander is quickly running out of potential landing spots now that the Red Sox are out of the mix, so he may eventually end up being a really nice bargain for someone.
